George picture of the day
Since it's nine years ago since he passed away today, I'll most likely do more posts about him later.
Anyroad, here's a school picture of George!

George picture of the day - Playing in Denmark!
(I know I already did a post with this a few days ago, but I found some new pictures of it since then.)
"Delaney & Bonnie & Friends" concerts. These pictures are from December 10, 11 or 12 in 1969.
Oh how I wish I could find some kind of Bootleg from these concerts (If such a thing exists...)

Lennon/McCartney
“Do you know that he sleeps with his eyes open? We’ve actually watched him, dozing there with the whites of his eyes still showing, and he won’t believe us when we tell him. He’s a good lad really. We don’t have much trouble with him, except that he gets a bit restless at feeding time."
- John on Paul.
I have no trouble imagining this. Except I the getting a bit restless at "feeding time", of course - although you never know, do you? ;)

George picture of the day - SHARING?!
George sharing his cup of tea with whom I believe is Dick Lester's son, on the set of A Hard Day's Night.
(Just Like) Starting Over
I hate being "one of those people" who read into music, but a couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across a discussion about Starting Over and what/who John was singing about. Now, most people in the thread thought it was about Paul. It's mostly these lyrics:
Everyday we used to make it love
Why can't we be making love nice and easy
It's time to spread our wings and fly
Don't let another day go by my love
It'll be just like starting over, starting over
Why don't we take off alone
Take a trip somewhere far, far away
We'll be together all alone again
Like we used to in the early days
Well, well, well darling
Why can't we be making love nice and easy
It's time to spread our wings and fly
Don't let another day go by my love
It'll be just like starting over, starting over
Why don't we take off alone
Take a trip somewhere far, far away
We'll be together all alone again
Like we used to in the early days
Well, well, well darling
The "Wings" could very well be, well, "Wings" as in Paul McCartney & Wings.
The "don't let another day go by my love" could be reference to Paul's song. If it is, it wouldn't be the first time John mentioned that song (also in How Do You Sleep?)

Basically the entire 2nd verse could be the Paris-trip in '61. "Take a trip somewhere far, far away" - They originally planned on going to Spain, but ended up staying in Paris, just John and Paul.
I've seen a couple of discussions on the word "darling" in Beatle and solo songs (mostly from Paul or John), but I'm still sceptical about that one.
Now if you don't mind, I'm going to take my tinfoil hat off and scold myself for reading into this,

George picture of the day
Now, I dislike it when fangirls squeal over whomever-their-idol-is, but I'd like to take this moment to point out just how Georgeous gorgeous this man is. Take his ridiculous cheekbones, for example

If I weren't so lazy, I'd find a video of this on YouTube. All four of them are adorable!

George picture of the day - With Rory Storm and Ringo in Hamburg!
Now, pictures from this day always gets me exited - I think it's wonderful to see "the boys" with Ringo years before he even joined the band. Thus I'll add a few more, mainly for my own entertainment.
(I'm not sure about this one, though. We'll keep it in for the sake of Paul's ridiculous eyebrows)
