Ringo Starr getting a piggyback ride from Astrid Kirchherr

It looks like this is on the set of A Hard Day's Night

George picture of the day

With Pattie after being arrested for drug possession on March 12, 1969.
I think George was supposed to be at Paul and Linda's wedding, but couldn't make it since he was arrested (a legit excuse for not showing up, mind you).
Adding this simply because.

Julie, can you please explain the wonders of eBay to mum

It would make me a very happy camper if I could get my hands on this baby

LOOK AT IT PLEASE. AND THE INTERVIEW IS SO MARVELLOUS

The Beatles - Day Tripper (Promo)

Oh how I adore this video.
As usual in these videos, Ringo doesn't have his drums, but he has a tambourine and a saw this time! At least it keeps him busy, in contrary to all the other where he just stands around, looking bored. I love George's "what the fuck"-face when Ringo saws the bars over (did that make sense?) And, of course, John and Paul are being extremely adorable.

Guitar

... practice is really awkward because no one knows each other there. Plus, it's just me and 2 other girls who are completely new to playing guitar, while others on the team has been playing for 6 or 7 years. And the two girls are learning faster than me because they have friends who play it.
Ugh, so I'm this awkwardly quiet n00b sitting there, trying to play chords. Something as simple as a G chord is hard for me, mainly because my hands and fingers are tiny, so I have trouble reaching the strings.

TO MAKE UP FOR THIS BORING POST, HAVE SOME ADORABLE PAUL: (Mostly for my sister who doesn't really see what's so great about Paulie here)
